First of all before I get into details I want to clear a few things up. Some of the naysayers out there decided that they were bored and tried to stir some things up regarding today's announcement. First of all we have never 'Over-Hyped' anything here. I have and always will do the news and articles on this site for our readers and our readers only. I have been to Epic, Digital Extremes and other studios and have received many things all on our own without having to resort to underhanded tactics to draw visitors. If you don't like Unreal Ops than there are other sites out there to get your info from. Don't let the perverbial door hit you on the way out!
Now for those of you that DO CARE about the Unreal Community I have some very, very cool news for you. First and foremost. Our good friend Bman ( ProGamePlayer and Ultra Unreal) has joined forces with major IRC network along with a huge LAN company and financial backer. The exact details will be announced in a few hours (you heard it hear first)!
What does this mean overall? Well it means that Unreal Ops is going to partner with what is going to be the largest Unreal IRC Network in the world! ( I guess Mr. Rein will have to rethink who the 'official' IRC network should be  ). It also mean that we will have an official Unreal Ops UT2004 ladder (Final name not yet set), that will be ran by rabid Fanboys and girls such as yourself! Last but not least it means that the upcoming Unreal Expo is not only going to be for real but it is going to have some kick ass events and prizes as well.
So let's see an Unreal IRC network, a Unreal gaming ladder, an Unreal news website and a cool Unreal LAN. Hmm, I think it is a damn good time to be an Unreal Fanboy. I will have some more news and a Hi Res version of that CTF screenie up later today. Thanks for being patient and go to bed it's 3:51am! |

When will the unreal expo be held, and will we get like travel guide: So we "not used to big citys" can participate??? And those posters??? do you have both in stock?? thx m8 tycho!! |

The Unreal Expo is scheduled to be held in Columbus Ohio, and if i remember it's going to be in the rec center. but dont quote me on that.
and a final date hasnt been set yet, but we know it's going to be this summer (june, july)
btw that WAS worth the wait for the info! but you coulda posted it through the SB. it kinda suxored anyways..... |

Ah, very nice, very nice indeed. A new Unreal ladder, hopefully targeted towards the average to advanced UT player, and not those who strive to be "Professionals". An new IRC network, dedicated to the Unreal Community and packing some major finiacial backing. Very sweet indeed. |

as normaly, i didnet realy understand, but a UT2004 ladder sounds like fun... and Columbus Ohio is to far away from me..
i hope to see that Hi Res. screeny soon.. looks cool. |

Oh........well I like to be on top........though I really don't mind either way.
Actually, I changed my mind, I like being on the bottom the most.........though it's not like I have any experience........just 2nd base. But it's all good to me cause I'm waiting till "I do".  |
