New Player Models/Skins

Where can one find lots of "good" player Models/skins. I'm on a mission to find something other than the boring "Humanoid" shape, or even some Famous people/characters? Last time I looked I could only find a few boring variations of the standard stuff.

99% of UT2003 custom models are absolute rubbish (no offence to anyone here who might have made a rubbish model...), but among the good ones is a nicely done Gordon Freeman model. You can find every skin/model on the net for UT2003 and UT at http://skincity.beyondunreal.com

There were a few good ones in there, but not as many that break the Humanoid mold as I'd want. Still there are a couple of them that are fairly humerous and a couple of Homer Simpson. I may try one of them un UT2004 and see how it looks.

I'd like to see Homer flying a Manta.

Mmmmm.... Nuts.....

Cartman couldn't kick Homer in the nuts cause he's too fat and his legs are too short. He could probalby punch him in the nuts though. He'd probably just cuss him out and stuff. I think he tends to avoid all of the physical stuff.

Beavis and Butthead would make great UT characters. I can just see them killing everybody and blowing stuff up. That would be cool!

Gotta look for some Asia Carerra skins too. I hope she comes out with some new skins for UT2004. Must remember to check her site again...

One of Cartman's many bizarre catchphrases is "I'll kick you in the nuts...".

Did Asia Carrera make anything for UT2003, or didn't she like it?

Last time I checked her site I think I remember that it seemed short on new skins (well, player skins, lots of other skin).

I dont' know whether she liked it or not. Maybe it's just a fad that she got over or something. I know that she should try UT2004 though! I'm sure she'd like it.

Maybe someday I'll chance to meet her in a online game. I'd like to go 1 on1 with her. as well. Wink

So far I haven't gotten the Homer skin from UT2003 to work.

I downloaded from SKincity, but after loading it , the player skin in game is the standard one. I can't see where I went wrong.

Has anyone verified some skins for UT2004? I thought this one was supposed to work. Maybe the installation is slightly different?

Well, Homer still don't work, but I got Bender the robot to work today. He even has his own voice pack which is fairly humerous so far.

He's pretty funny lookin when he drives the Scorpion. I might post a pic when I get home tonight.

Still need to get Homer working though.

2. how do you get skins in UT2004? i wanna drive bender, hes the sweetest tv serie guy iv eevr seen, unfortianly futurama doesnt come on the TV in this ountry anymore.. couse i was the onlyone that watched it.. Wink

That one is easy.

Look for Bender in the UT2003 section.

Download .zip file.

Extract files into proper location (comes with a readme )

Copy one line of text into a certain file (Also in the readme)

Start UT2004 and select Bender.

Check out the cool integrated sound package. This character is just short of outstanding.

(I found no models that will sit ina vehicle properly, but I'm sure the modders out there will correct that).

So far these have worked:

Bender (with voice pack)
Terminator
Cyborg chick I can't remember name
Max Payne (not yet tested, but looks like a working version)

so far no Homer, beavis, butthead. bummer.
