Who has what kind of gaming pad? Everglide sells several, but has not responded to my email inquiries about them. I want to get one, and it seems like the only ones I find are on the Internet. I use a Microsoft optical mouse, the thing works well, but the mouse pad seems to drag alot. This seems to cause problems when I make longer distance shots. Twisted Evil

While what you are saying is true, the advantage of a game pad is a more calibrated, reduced drag. It should provide nearly effortless effort to move the mouse, with a surface large enough for gaming, and one that won't affect the effectiveness of the led's. (Like wood grain tends to do.) I actually thought about using a square of waxed floor tile.

The wrong surface causes "jumpiness" or the tendency to not be able to track an object that is moving accurately. A standard mouse pad will do this because the cloth surface gets "sticky". At least, this seems to be what I find.

I have a logitech mx500 and I haven't had a problem out of it... can use any smooth surface... but shiny reflective surfaces aren't too good on em.

1 pad is the only pad you'll ever need again:

http://www.xidepad.com/

I've got the Xide-PadII, and I absolutely love the thing, hell, I've been thinking about writing up a review of it and e-mailing it to Tycho. (Might do that this weekend infact).....

Great pad overall, I had to re-glue part of it, but I bought a $5 tube of liquid cement, and it's never given me grief again. HUGE mousing surface, and LED lit ta-boot. What more could you ask for?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I also use a Microsoft Optical mouse with this, it's one of the microsoft "blue" mice, as I love how smoothly it scrolls.

Bah! Can't use one of those Sad Need the ergonomic keyboard.... flat ones drive me bonkers anymore, though I'm forced to use em at work.

They really should make a glowing ergonomic one so I won't have try to do it myself..... the keyboard is about the only part of my computer that doesn't glow in some form or another. (God I pity guests who stay in our computer room Wink )

lol

did you see that they're coming out with themed keybord attachments?
it's a little addon tat you put on top of the keyboard that shows you what keys do what (default config only) looks pretty cool. 20 bucks a piece though.

I wouldn't get one of the illuminated keyboards either, but not because it's not ergonomical, but more because it looks like laptop keys.... I don't like the action of laptop keys.

I got a Fujitsu 4275 keyboard.. ^^

Yeah, laptop keys kinda bother me, unless their on my laptop Razz but even then, my next one I'm gonna be looking at one of the expanding keyboards, so I'll have more room.
