I was wondering if the UO staff would consider making those orange "new posts" icons for stickies and announcements?
I missed a bunch of new posts in the CBP staff announcements because of this (i always look for the orange Smile )

Thanks dudes!

There are orange icons for both announcements and stickies, and I just verified that they infact, do work.

It doesn't appear as new if you are not logged in.

I know it costs money for a liscense, but maybe if its worth it, a bunch of the regulars here could pitch in (i hear it's $100)...

/me thinks vbulletin is about as good as the programming language that is close to it's name, VB..... meaning that it is a pile of crap.

phpBB is in my opinion (and I'm pretty sure barbos's as well) the most powerful forum set you can get (not to mention the most comfortable)... Not only that, but it would require a major reworking of the UO website yet again to make it fit in, as Barbos has modified this copy of phpBB and the UO website so that it allows for things like our automatic posting of news in topics/etc. (There are many more modifications around, but I'm not going to go into detail unless you insist, and I can remember them Wink )

Got any reason you "love" vbulletin? (or atleast love it enough to suggest it)

plus, $160 for a forum that doesn't offer much for the money isn't what I'd call a "good business decision"....
