I thought it would be kind of convenient for users/readers of the site, if all the news links opened in a new window, instead of the Parent.
This way we could stay on your site and still check out the link.
I know we can right click for a new window, but I often forget to do that.

Only problem is, that breaks the "browser" in good coding standards.... People have the option to open them in a new window if they so choose (right click->open in new window, or in firebird, simply middle-click and you get it in a new tab).... So the designer of the site forcing that upon people isn't exactly a good idea.....

I just suggest getting away from IE their prolly the most standard-breaking browser on the market......
check out Firebird, you'll be thankful ya did |

Yeah, I was thinking about downloading Firebird.
Standards are okay, but its nice when almost anything works on IE 
Then again, that's dangerous too 
Looks like can't have my cake and eat it too.
Btw, I should say, good job on sticking with the standards. |

opera has quite a few problems with spacing issues.... especially when it comes to button sizing... though, i'm not saying it doesn't have potential.... just has HUGE damn buttons and the banner bothers me

oooh yeah? well Firebird doesn't have... errr... isn't... uuuh... a SPYWARE! AHA! OWNED! well I really think Opera is fast and easy and just suits my needys (suppose to be needs but it would sound girly  ) |

Firebird is the browser-only component of Mozilla. It offers a easier and less overwhelming preferences panel, yet all of the under-laying goodies are still accessable.
For those that use the mail component of Mozilla, there is also Thunderbird, so you can now have the applications seperated (which of course, offers some security benefit) instead of one grouped "suite". |

I downloaded Firebird right after I posted that, lol.
It's nice, but faaaaar from finished.
Once it matures a bit more, I look forward to using it as my default browser.

Out of curiousity, what about Firebird in your mind is "faaaaar from finished"?
Sure, 0.6.1 has some minor issues with some plugins, but on the whole, I havn't found a single site that didnt' render properly (provided they were using standardized code). Of course all of those "IE ONLY" pieces of code out there aren't going to render, and that's a problem I believe that lay in the hands of the webmaster, not the browser programmers.
I'd be more than interested though in finding out what you felt was.. "lacking" or "broken" in Firebird.
Oh, and on IRider - In the system requirements:
