no need. it for some weird reason works now
10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.2 where switched around, so that was weird.
but it all works now for some reason
but i like if you could take a look tho
couse im using a network bridge on 1 pc, and on the other i dont, and i got no clue of what it is, expect for that it isnt good..

a network bridge (if i remember correctly) seporates the network into two collision domains..... you dont need to have it enabled on the other computer.
oh and btw do you have a Router, switch, or a hub that you are going through? or is it computer to computer?
because if you are using pc to pc then you need a special kind of "patch cable" called a crossover or rollover cable (the cable is wired differently than a normal "straight through" cable)
also if your IP address is what you listed above you could have had a problem if both addresses were teh same. btw YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE "subnet mask" the same for both computers unless you are using a router to seporate your network. but that's a different story.
i'd be happy to take a look at it, but if you said it's working then you might as well just leave it alone. |

i use a hub now.. but a router next week or so.. gonna have it changed |
