HomeLan Fed writes: “One of the winners in the first phase of the Make Something Unreal mod contest was Jupiter Effect: Influx, a Japanese mech inspired game. HomeLAN got a chance to chat with James Walkoski, the lead programmer of the mod, to find out more about Jupiter Effect: Influx.” Here’s a snippet:

HomeLAN: Overall are you pleased with the results of the mod so far?

James Walkoski: I do know that Johnny Oh, the main guy behind our levels, would have liked more time to work on those before we submitted it. However, in general all we ever asked of our work was to place in the Make Something Unreal contest, and we achieved that. It’s not really ‘complete’ or perfect, but it is certainly finished. No work has been done on it for quite some time.

The full-interview can be perused at HomeLan Fed.
