i didnt wanna start a new topic so here it is: i have lost all my respect for nintendo, they got some stupid monkeys pressing auto responses to peoples emails, with this type of crappy support, im ditching em

heres a email that i sent to them:

hi, im currently planning about buying a new television, and if possible, i
would like to know if the next nintendo system will work only on htdv
televisions or all tv's. thanks

--------------------------------------------------
this is what they "auto-responded":

Hi!

It is true that Nintendo is working on its next generation hardware system.
While we haven't confirmed a launch date at this time, we're prepared to release
this new system at the same time, if not before our competitors release their
next generation consoles. As new details are revealed, you can be sure that
you'll see them first at www.nintendo.com or in Nintendo Power Magazine.

Rest assured that our full efforts are behind supporting and fostering the
success of the Nintendo GameCube. Our library of games for this system has
expanded to well over 300 titles in just over two years, which is the most
support for any Nintendo console ever. A vast majority of those titles are from
third-party developers. Some of the biggest developers in the industry,
including Electronic Arts, Konami, Namco, Sega, Lucas Arts, and Capcom, are all
on board. This will help ensure that the hottest video game franchises will
appear in unique (and often exclusive) versions for the Nintendo GameCube
system.

Speaking of the Nintendo GameCube, we're excited about the recent release of
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, 1080: Avalanche, Kirby Air Ride, and more, as well
as some upcoming, exclusive titles like Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles,
Pokemon Colosseum, and Pikmin 2 (just to name a few). In addition, we've
released the Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Player, which gives Game Boy fans the
opportunity to play their Game Boy games on a television screen via their
Nintendo GameCube console. We are also continuing to explore new and exciting
ways of linking the Game Boy Advance/Game Boy Advance SP with the Nintendo
GameCube system to provide players even more playing options. Keep an eye on
our official web site (www.nintendo.com) for all the latest news on this system.

No offense dude, but they probably recieve some 14 hundred similar emails a day. All of them have automated responses. Hell, I was having a hard time with HL and I kept sending emails only to get automated responses about "make sure your drivers are updated, etc" even though in my email I mentioned that I already updated them etc. Welcome to customer service in general.

When a company becomes big and successful normally customer service and the "personal touch" take the hits first.
