I luv the ut series and with few exceptions own almost every version of the game that ever came out.
Unfortunately, I seem to find that every now and then with ut2k4.....(1 out of every 7 or 8 deaths I experience)....that the game crashes and drops to windows at the exact moment I get killed. It then takes my poor
'puter 2 or 3 minutes to return to the game.
I use Windows XP as an OS and am not really sure if this is a game bug or an XP bug.
I play on an AMD 1.3 gig with a nvidia geforce 4400 graphics card with 256 megs of DDR ram.........barely what the game requires to run smooth.
Any help would be appriaciated in this matter as I will be damned if I shell out 80 bucks or so for a game that crashes my system every few minutes.
Other than that.... ut2k4 rocks in ways that nearly defy description.
Way to go guys...you have a winner on your hands. |

Same here ziggy xp pro system shuts down just a bug im sure thell fix it soon . |

I've had it reboot my system twice, but it hasn't happened recently, just within the first 5 minutes, on the first two times I tried to play... |

Im running xp pro and everything is fine, 256 ram ti4200 750mghz
ziggy ur specs are fine for the game |
