Just in time for the new demo! Ati has released version 4.2 of their video card drivers. I have to finish up a couple of more things and then I will be trying these bad boys out. I'll keep you informed!

So apparently, there is up to 15% performance increase in these drivers for their DX8 line of cards (8500, 9000, 9100, 9200) under UT2003. Wonder if UT2004 will benefit as well? Can't risk screwing up my machine at the moment... but if anyone else with an ATI DX8 card tries the drivers with 2004, I'd like to know!

Im not sure about the rest of you guy, but it seems like the 4.2s have lowered my fps in 2k4 on my 9600xt. Anyone else have results to report?

yeah the 4.1s defionitely give me higher FPS in UT2k4, could be different on other cards though, give em a try but save the 4.1 installer.
