When I load my maps in UT-04 I receive a Null error, says its missing cube maps? Also when I exit it tells me to save all these different packages? Ok, what are these packages for and where should I save them. Also when I build-all and save my map and test play, the editor gives me an error and crashes out, I can only go into the Game itself and test it, which is a hassel. So what is the best way to fix these problems and not to let them happen again.

I have been using UnrealEd since UT' back in the day. I'm new to UT and the editor technology.

maybe texture packages? or sound packages?

copy the exact error, a null error doesnt ring a bell here. |

Ok thanks for the help.

However this doesn't always happen when I make a map.

But thanks again I'll keep all that in mind, for future designs.

May I ask what you are into, level design, mods, etc.

What's your passion.

Mine is Level Design, I'm trying to finish school, but it's the darn $ factor.

It's funny cause' I'm 23 and should be working for a company by now, but things, even when planned never seem go in a straight line.

I have been busy with 3DS Max 5 and Maya 5, let alone with Photoshop, UnrealEd, also music programs and work on top of it all.

I swear there isn't enough hours in a day.

Sorry enough blabbing, thanks enock. |
