What will happen with the CBP when ut2k4 is released.
I know that you can load them in ut2k4 and that you can recompile them in the new version of unrealed.
But my question is: Will you guys port them and put out an official CBP download which is ported to ut2k4? |

An already UT04 compatible CBP (with new maps / mods) would be VERY nice.... |

This has come under consideration, and right now we're trying to get a poll going on either the CBP website or (even better) UOPS or BU or PU. Once we know whether or not an overwhelming number of people would be willing to download the same pack again (essentially), we'll get cracking! =) |

I don't think it's a matter of wether enough people would download it. It HAS to be done by us, otherwise there will be too many home-converted ones floating around causing mismatches. |

Why nót recompile the pack?
If 10 people download it, it will have been worth the effort I'd say.
At least I doubt recompiling actually entails any real work.
People found some bugs and things in the maps, and considering Epic decided to fix some of their errors in their UT2003 maps after dropping compatibility, you should (in my opinion) consider doing the same.
Of course there's the issue of filespace, but I'm sure you can arrange a bunch of mirrors, considering the quality of the package.
In short, I'm going to vote for a recompile once the poll is up!
Keep up the good work! |

That just happens to be the main inspiration behind the re-release, and Ut2k4's release seemed like a good opportunity to do such a thing. |

Yes, please! I never got to try the pack with UT2k3, but it really looks fantastic. I'd love to have the opportunity to play it with UT2k4. Hell, if it's even half as good as it looks, I'd be more than willing to do a spot for it on my website, or even interview a few of the contributors. Head over to www.alloutgames.com sometime - I'm the managing editor there, Quemaqua. I'd register here and all, but I'm really damned lazy, so... yeah. Not gonna' do that. Especially since it's 4AM right now. =) I think I'll sleep. That sounds good. |

Yes please by all means do a release for UT 2004!!
I will gladly download the pack again. These are much better than most of the 'factory' issue maps. I played these more than the other maps by a longshot.
There is some truly good talent here that needs to be given a re-birth!! |

Note to self: Remember to make this into a poll. |

The maps already work great in UT2k4. I didn't notice any longer load times either. So I guess the recompile isn't really needed. |
