Before I head off to bed I have to share a chuckle that I had with you. Beyond Unreal is hosting the final Doom 3 Trailer which is not the norm for them. I personally think it is cool they are branching a little. It will be interesting to see if they get a nasty email from Mark Rein tomorrow about posting something Non-Unreal related. Mark doesn't take too kindly to that. However someone did give QAPete crap on his own forums and I have some ammunition for Petey. See not a lot of folks know that Mark used to work for iD. After some digging through the old UO archives I found this cool pic.

indeed those that read masters of doom know that both Mark Rein and Jay Wilbur of Epic had thier beginnings in id software... that was a good book |

Can't wait for Doom 3 and make some maps also for it... It looks fun as hell!
Shame shame shame ID is still the one of the first or really first company that put FPS games into plain view. |

Its not like we're branching out or changing the direction of the site (a la Halo Ops). This is a one-off, because Pete had received requests for decent mirrors for the Doom3 video. |

I find it funny that some people are complaining about the Doom 3 video BU is posting. Who cares. I'm sure even Mark Rein will be playing the game. This is a time we should stand up and tip our hats to id.
