 When UT first came out I tried messing with Custom Skins, but it was much trickier than Half-Life. Also, we tried creating custom taunts, like we used to use in D3D, but didn't have much luck with that either. There were lots of different models and skins for HL, but UT seemed to only have humanoid models. I've pretty much just used whatever comes with UT and usually don't even know what my skin is.
I probably should give it another go now that I have more experience with Unreal stuff. We used to use a (mostly) Simpsons RTS pack in D3D. One of my favorites was;
Homer - "I would kill everyone in this room for a drop of sweet beer."
That ususally got enough people laughing for a frag or two. Personally I'm getting tired of the same old crap in UT series. I've noticed that none of the taunts were new in UT2004 demo. I sincerely hope they plan on upgrading with fresh versions.
Of course I'll still prefer custom taunts because I can pick favorite lines from tv and movies, which the developers couldn't do, for legal reasons. |

lol.. i never realy used much custom skins and all.
there are alot more skins in UT2004 lets hope they got alot of cool ones  |
