Can someone help me, I recently got Remote Strike from the cover DVD of a PC magazine and I don't know how to install it. |

you have to have UT2004 installed
then after you do that, all you should have to do is double click on the file and it should auto install... |

I tried what was in that other thread and, guess what, IT DIDN'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!! Says it can't find the program. Any ideas? |

yah... but if this screws up your PC its your problem
first (in WinXP or Win2k pro) open up my computer, go to tools -> folder options
on the top click the "file types" tab
scroll down till you find "UT4MOD" click that listing, and click "advanced"
when the little window pops up click "edit"
when the new window pops up enter this in the respective textboxes:
Action: &Install this UT2004 module
Application Used To Perform Action: C:\UT2004\System\Setup.exe install "%1"
make sure the "%1" is there (including the quotes) id suggest just copy/paste it 
make sure you click the checkbox for USE DDE
under Application type "Setup" and under Topic type "System"
after you fill that out, hit OK, then when your back to the "Edit file type" box check the box next to "confirm open after download"
if you want to at that point, you can also change the icon. most of the originals are set up using the UT2k4 icon. which is easy to find.
click change icon, then copy/paste this line into the text box: "C:\UT2004beta\Help\Unreal.ico" or just browse to that location by clicking browse
dont put the quotes.... click ok, then ok, then close, then try the file... it should work.
