I always thought it was pronounced "Scarge", yet, I come to find that it is pronounced Scar. Your thoughts? |

And see, the thing is, that's the only pronunciation that makes any sense... and you also have to ask - How do we know how its spelled? How do we know how its pronounced? How do we even know that's the right name?

Because, honestly... when was the last time a Skaarj spoke English to you? They may be among the most intelligent military minds in the universe... but it seems to me that their capacity for anything other than mono-syllabic grunts and growls is... well, there is no capacity for anything other than mono-syllabic grunts and growls. |

Yeah I found out the same thing a while ago but my friends and I refuse to call them the Scar.........its too cheesy if you ask me.

(Seems like every fricking bad guy people come up with have to have a name equal to some everyday word thats associated with something bad.....its soo damn cheesy!!! ugh (Dr. Evil, Proffesor Bad, Mr. Booger, Dame Ouchy , etc, etc, etc))

Skarge sounds much better if you ask me.....and besides Im used to calling them that so there |

I should clarify.......its not so much skarge like sarg so much as skarge with a french sounding "g"......sorta like skargshe with a sort of soft sounding "g"

Ugh, I can't seem to type it but I think you get what I'm saying. |

LOL those are 2 different pronounciations of "i" so which one is it? Skier has an "e" sound whereas bite has a long "i" sound.

And I was saying that is how my friends and I pronounce it....not necessarily what Cliffy B or whoever says its pronounced. |
